Super Tire Pro Series For Aurora T-Jet Chassis Fray Style Racing Has Been Approved For Use By ECHORR
Just released the new design Pro Series Super Tire underwent several months of testing by some of the best Fray Racers in the country that are proven winners in national events. With 8 different finished diameter tires based on a JL .188" OD wheel and 3 compounds soft (Orange urethane), medium (Red urethane) & Firm (Black classic silicone) coupled with 5 different profile Zoomin Motor Sports wheels the tuning possibilities are limitless. At last a tire for Fray racing that can take a beating lap after lap with out delaminating & no need to change wheels to increase or decrease your ride height or adjust for track conditions. The best part is these are a fraction of the cost compared to sponge silicone tires that will give you competitive times lap after lap.

The AFX .474" OD x .200" W is a universal tire that has many applications. Designed for a .275" OD rim this tire work great and fits well on the following chassis. All AFX JL & Auto World Magnatraction, Tyco Pro Brass & Black Pan, Tyco HP7 & HP2 along with the U.S.1 Trucking Chassis.
The AFX .490" OD x .200" W is great for top end speed if drag racing or gives the extra height needed on AFX trucks to go up hills with out hitting the track.
The .510" Specialty chassis tire is the narrow low profile version that is perfect for all the AFX & Auto World 4 gear chassis with this style wheel.
The .510" tires are also a great performer for the Ideal TCR MK1&2 & Matchbox slotless chassis. They are slightly narrower than the stock tire but work much better.
Tomy Turbo SRT & Mega-G Black Classic Silicone Super Tires
The Tomy Turbo & SRT chassis both take the .458" OD x .220" W Super Tire. This tire comes in both compound "A" for stock production racing & Compoud "B" for commercial tracks & high performance cars.
You can also use these on your favorite AFX Magnatraction chassis with the factory stocker wheels for improved handling as it lowers the chassis & gets the traction magnets working.
For the Super G+ chassis a Tyco 440-X2 Super Tire in .426" OD or .430" OD is recommended. This will require the use of a Tyco wheel drilled out with a 1/16" bit to accept the Tomy axle or an aftermarket .250" OD x .280" W aftermarket wheel for the Tomy axle.
The .458" also works on the Tyco HP2 Wide Rims like the Pinto Rough Rider

Tyco & Mattel 440 440-X2 Compound "A" & "B" & Pro Series Compound "A" & Urethane Super Tires
(1)In this section you will find a large assortment of sizes & compounds to help you fine tune your Tyco or Mattel 440 & 440-X2 chassis. All tire dimensions are the finished height when mounted on a stock .252" OD Tyco factory wheel. So if using an aftermarket wheel of .250" OD it will reduce the finished height by .002" So a .430" tire will now be .428" and so forth. The original Tyco wheel had a slight taper of .002" for manufacturing reasons
(2)All of the Tyco 440 Super Tires are .280" W
(3)Sizes .418" to .448" have a square side wall and come in both classic silicone compound "A" & a harder silicone compound "B" that can be tailored with a sanding block. Compound "A" tires can not be sanded down.
(4)The compound "A" classic silicone is a high performance tire that works great on both plastic & commercial tracks.
(5)Compound "B" is a harder silicone tire that was designed for high performance cars with maximum down force on commercial or plastic tracks.
(6)Use a nail file or emory board to taper the outer edge for a slight radius for better performance in the turns. This will work on all the Silicone Super Tires.
(7)The new Tyco 440 Pro Series tires have a radius on 1 side wall & come in sizes .452" to .464" these are available in Classic compound "A" Silicone & Urethane.
(8)Classic Silicone Super Tires work best on a clean track. If conditions are not perfect and the track is not cleaned on a regular basis then go with the Urethane tires as they do not pick up the dirt as fast as silicone.
(9)It is also best to run all cars racing with the same tire either silicone or urethane. If switching from one to the other clean the track so as to remove any reside left behind by the silicone or urethane tires. Doing this will give you the best performance for either style tire.

Tyco Mattel 440-X2 Pro Series Classic Silicone & Urethane Super Tires
The Tyco 440-X2 Super Tire Pro Series sports a nice side wall radius and is available in both Classic Silicone & Urethane.
These are the ticket if you are running the newer Mattel chassis with neo magnets. Due to poor consistency in the rear axle location on the Mattel wide pan chassis this assortment of sizes will get you tuned in.
The mounted or finished size of these tires is based on a factory Tyco 440 rim with an OD of .252" if using an aftermarket .250" OD wheel the size will drop by .002" so the .452" OD tire would drop to .450" Mounted OD.

Lifelike M & T Chassis & Aurora AFX G+ Compound A & B Super Tires
The Liflike Super Tire finished or mounted diameter is based on a factory .275" OD M chassis wheel, if using the newer T chassis with the .265" OD wheel the finished diameter will drop by .01" so a .446" will become a .436"
The Lifelike Super Tires are .300" Wide
For the vintage Aurora AFX G+ cars use the .446" or .450" Lifelike tire, it is just the right height & fills out the entire rim.

If you are running the new Auto World Thunder-Jet Ultra-G chassis the Pro Series silicone tires for T-Jet's work great. I would start with the #336RF @ .360" OD and work up on size from there. Do not order the Urethane pro tires for this application as they will not work with the traction magnets. If you are interested in a taller tire than the #348RF @ .472" OD you can also use the Tuff-1 Super tire available in .378" & .400" with the straight cut side wall. If running the old style Aurora Tuff-1 chassis with out traction magnets all of the below tires will work and the Pro Series #342RF @ .348" OD is a nice starting point.
